S.A.F.E. Neighborhood Program

In an effort to further expand community participation in public safety education, Bexar-Bulverde Volunteer Fire Department has started the S.A.F.E. (Safety Awareness For Everyone) Neighborhood Program. All of our current community outreach services will fall under this program. In addition to our offered services, we can also participate in any number of other events, such as talking to Boy Scout packs about fire safety in the wilderness or teaching retirement age residence about preventing slip and fall accidents. At the end of the year, all of our prevention activities will be categorized by location and the neighborhoods that had the highest participation in public safety education will be given a personalized award.

• Fire Station Tours
• Fire Truck Visits (birthday parties, business events, schools, etc.)
• Home Fire Safety Surveys (residential fire safety walk- through)
• Neighborhood Events (block parties, National Night Out, safety event, etc.)
• Vial of Life (stickers and forms available at Station 104, 23103 Bulverde Rd)
• Speaking at Annual HOA Meetings
• Requests for Fire Safety Literature/ Information
• Special requests for anything other than listed
